RatingCondensor Problemby: AnonymousHi I have a Carrier System the Condensor Unit S#1004E33130 Model #38TA042My Coil is Carrier Model#CK5AXA042 S#3204X52131The furnace is a Carrier Model#58CMR. This is my complete system installed new back in 2004.Today I went to turn on the breaker to work the A/C and set the thermostat the inside blower turned on, as it supposed to also the condensor/ and compressor turned on as well like it supposed to, however it is short cycling.
I have tested the fan it is ok, I am going to borrow some A/C guages to test pressure. All the electrical wiring is good and tests good nothing corroded or loose. What else should I check? What could the problem be?
Also I noticed with the condensor unit breaker off and the thermostat on I hear a buzzzing not sure if its from the compressor or capacitor any help is appreciated last I checked I had liquid line pressure at 168 psig, saturation tempature for measured pressure is 59 degrees, liquid line tempature is 70 degrunning R-410A. Ratingwhat kindby: donwhat kind of central air unit do I have?I have found it was manufactured at evcon industries in Whichita KS.the model # is BPCH0361BAthe serial # is 950551606can someone help me to find out what type of unit I have so I can cool my home. I think the blower is weak and was gonna try to replace it.
Its with a 1996 mobile home 16 x 80 and unless the rooms are the ones close to the unit it just doesnt put much air through the vents. The air is cool but just doesnt blow out with enough force to do any good and the duct work is all in tact so this is may be the problem.I just need to figure out what I have in order to get one for it.
Can someone please tell me or guide me to a site that can answer this by entering these numbers I have located.thank you in advance for whatever help you can provide me with.
